Bespoke jewellery in Auckland: the success story of a family business
Mark Sanders started his career in the jewellery industry in 1976 as a travelling rep for a large wholesale jewellery company. In 1980, Mark started up his own wholesale jewellery company, employing twelve staff. As the industry changed, the business adjusted to the times and moved toward manufacturing and retail.

In 1992 Mark and Cheryl Sanders established Sanders Jewellers, opening the doors of the first store in St Heliers. Following the success came their second store in Remuera in 1995. Fast forward 30 years, and they still proudly own and operate both stores alongside their valuable staff and son, James. They prove that, like jewellery that lasts the test of time, you're never out of fashion when a business focuses on providing exceptional customer service and quality.
James is an expert in diamond handling, weight estimation, colour and clarity grading, cut assessment, and identifying whether it's a mined or synthetic diamond. His knowledge extends to salvaging damaged diamonds, evaluating antique cuts, grading fancy-coloured diamonds, and detecting synthetic diamonds. When you choose Sanders Jewellers, you're choosing a professional who understands diamonds comprehensively.

"Creating high-quality, handcrafted bespoke pieces of jewellery that will last generations is our greatest passion. We can make your dreams a reality whatever the inspiration or style."
